James Spring

James Spring is located in a small canyon West of the Kaiser-Aetna Road between Tie-Down Peak and County Line Road.  A nearby shady, secluded area was Jack James' deer camp many years ago.  A bottle of wine and old-time dinnerware were artifacts rescued by a clean-up party.   Restoration of the Spring Site was funded by the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF).
