Grapevine Spring- Lower

Before it became "hog heaven' the reliable Grapevine Spring was located above one of Coe's most beautiful mini-pond-meadows. The pigs have wallowed away part of the pond, but the spring bubbles on.  Around the first of March dozens of newt come to the pond to 'party' and fraternize.

The Grapevine Spring is located .3 miles East of  Coit Road at the intersection of the Anza and Grapevine trails.   In 6-99, A new Rubbermaid trough was installed by the 'Coe Park Spring Maintenance Team' .  The lumber from the old trough was used to refurbish the Timm- Upper, Spring Box.
