Spring is located along Hobbs Rd on the North slope of the Middle Ridge
near the Widow Hobbs cabin site. A backpacking camp with
restroom is located adjacent to the site. This is one of the best
flowing springs in the park.
On 5-15-01, the Springs Maintenance Team refurbished the Spring Box and plumbing. The steel outflow pipe was replace with 1-1/2" PVC and repositioned down to the bottom of the Spring Box. Several large tree limbs, which were lying on the ground, were removed from between the Spring Box and Trough. Status: 5-15-01) Good water flow |
