Bowl Spring

The Bowl Spring is located on the Bowl trail .3mi West of the Lyman Willson -Bowl trail intersection.  Remnants of one of the two dilapidated spring boxes, and a rusted out tank and trough are still visible, mostly buried in mud.  On August 7, 2001 the Landmark Volunteers installed a new Spring Box, Trough and Plumbing .  The East Spring Box was replaced and a new 80 gallon Rubbermaid trough was added.  The trough is positioned in a dry area below the box to accommodate wildlife, horses and backcountry travelers.
