Board Spring

Board Spring is located on Board Spring Road, .3 miles off  the County Line Road, near the Mississippi Horse Camp. This spring provides year-round flow to backcountry travelers and wild life in normal rain years.  The Spring Box is a barrel shaped concrete structure located about 100' uphill from the trough.

A restoration project was undertaken by the 'Coe Park Springs Maintenance' team in July, 2000.  The old rusted steel trough was replaced with a 70 gallon Rubbermaid trough.   The new arrangement allowed 1 1/2" overflow plumbing to be utilized, eliminating a hazardous marshy area around the trough.
