Arnold Horse Camp

The Arnold cabin is located on the East Fork of  the Coyote Creek on the Narrows Trail near the intersection of Blue Ridge Rd and Bear Mt Road. A horse corral is available at Arnold Camp for equestrians.  Two small springs boxes are located several hundred feet up a steep ravine North of the cabin.  These spring boxes feed a small tank located behind the cabin.  The tank feeds a trough located near the cabin.

During June, 2000 a group of Landmark Volunteers and members of the Springs Maintenance team restored the Arnold Horse Camp water system to service.  New plumbing was run from both spring boxes to a holding tank near the cabin, the trough was moved up the hill to position near the cabin.  Abandoned plumbing was cut up and moved to a central site for removal.

Status 6-20-2000 Fully operational, good water flow.
