| Arnold Horse Camp |
The Arnold cabin is located on the East Fork of the Coyote Creek on the Narrows Trail near the intersection of Blue Ridge Rd and Bear Mt Road. A horse corral is available at Arnold Camp for equestrians. Two small springs boxes are located several hundred feet up a steep ravine North of the cabin. These spring boxes feed a small tank located behind the cabin. The tank feeds a trough located near the cabin. During June, 2000 a group of Landmark Volunteers and members of the Springs Maintenance team restored the Arnold Horse Camp water system to service. New plumbing was run from both spring boxes to a holding tank near the cabin, the trough was moved up the hill to position near the cabin. Abandoned plumbing was cut up and moved to a central site for removal. Status 6-20-2000 Fully operational, good water flow. |
