Viewing and Printing 3x4.5mi Maps

Viewing- Set monitor display to 600x800 pixels or higher, 1200x1600 is even better as this is the map pixel size. Set colors to '16 bit'.

Printing- These map are all 1600(w)x1200(h) pixels.  Direct printing from the MSIE or Netscape Browser will result in most of the image being lost.   (These Browsers appear to be limited to 725(w) x 950(h) pixels per printed page.  The portion of the image exceeding 725 pixels in width will be lost)

The maps must be printed to fill a full 8"x10" page or the text will not be readable. To print, do a right mouse-click on the image, select 'copy', and save the image file  to your desktop or hard disk.  Open the image in your favorite image viewer or editor.  Print the map from your image viewer/editor using the appropriate printing set up parameters (e.g. portrait, landscape, full-size) as required.  It is useful to use a color printer as all of the roads and trails have  non-conflicting colors from end to end.
