Landmark Volunteer 2004 Spring Maintenance Activities |
| In
July 2004 thirteen high school students from the Landmark Volunteer
organization (LMV) spent a week in Henry Coe State Park restoring and
maintaining springs, and brushing trails. A second week was spent on
the beach at Sunset State Park where the students constructed ramadas,
brushed trails, participated in farm work and beach clean up.
The work performed by these volunteers will be long remembered and appreciated by hikers, bikers, backpackers, fishermen and other backcountry travelers in Coe Park. The Spring Maintenance Team wishes to express their appreciation for all of their hard work. It was a joy working with these students.
