Acknowledgment of Contribution

All data for these maps was collected by Bob Patrie using a Trimble GeoExplorer II GPS unit.  Bob developed program scripts to process the collected data in to manageable bite size parcels which could be digested by the TOPO! and Waypoint+ map programs.  Bob is in the process of preparing maps utilizing commercial software programs.  His encouragement, tutelage, guidance and Toyota 4Runner have been much appreciated. 

The 'Spring Maintenance Committee' supported my early efforts during 1997-99, of South Coe mapping with time, effort, funding,  and encouragement.  Over a hundred high resolution topo maps were mailed at no charge to requesters and several hundred line maps were handed out to park visitors.  Notebooks with maps, spring photos and trail profiles were constructed and provided to several park agencies.   Verbal and email response from map users was most gratifying.   The early (and ongoing) encouragement and the park & trail information provided by Ruby Domino, Richard Auser and Celia McCormick is much appreciated.
